Mike Dowe has hundreds of stories about years as a prisoner of war in a communist prison camp. Dowe was a POW in a brutal camp north of the Yalu River in North Korea during the Korean conflict. His memories are vivid and unusually detailed.

“Amorous Leticia” is what my voice text recognition typed out once when I said, “Amoris Laetitia” (the 2016 Apostolic Exhortation by the man formerly known as Jorge Mario Bergoglio ) and it stuck.
There is a lot of talk today about the German bishops as the culprits of false sexual liberation and the rejection of the Catholic sexual ethic. This week’s guest, author John Gravino, says the Germans are simply representatives of the universal Church since the release of Amorous Leticia, which codifies the central errors of the infamous 1960s-70s dissenters. In this video, you will learn what happened at the recently advertised “Community Zoom Chat moderated by Bishop Timothy Freyer.”
The event included Catholic parents submitting questions beforehand through the Zoom invite, and then given an email to ask another question.
The whole thing was a lie. The “community Zoom meeting” was not moderated by Bishop Freyer, who basically said little apart from assuring the attendees that “the Holy See” and “the US bishops” teach that the Covid 19 vaccine is safe and effective, etc, etc.
The person who sent the invitation by Twitter, Dr. Erin Barisano, Superintendent of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Orange, CA. She appeared on the Brady Bunch-like video screen but said nothing.
No, the whole event was a sales pressure tactic with the obvious aim of breaking parental “vaccine hesitancy.” No questions or input from concerned parents. Just the same fear-mongering, manipulative deceptions we’re come to expect from Fauci and his sock puppets.
Not a peep about vaccine injuries, the swamped VAERS website. Only arrogant speech-making.
Why is the Diocese of Orange linking arms with the corrupt bureau-quack Clayton “fake Ph.D.” Chau, or the president of the local American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Kate Williamson, whose group advocates for abortions and transgender ideology for minors behind their parents’ backs? Who is paying who and why for this hard sell?
Catholic parents in the Diocese of Orange need to wake up. Our leaders (sic) do not have our children’s actual health and best interests in mind.

You’ve heard the rebuttal, “Video games attract people who are drawn to violence to begin with, they don’t cause the violence.” Well, Lt. Col. Dave Grossman collects the data and brings the receipts: violent video games cause increased violent crime rates in some cases and are strongly correlated with many more.
Grossman knows what he’s talking about. He is a US Army Ranger, a paratrooper, and a former West Point Psychology Professor. He has a Black Belt in Hojutsu, the martial art of the firearm, and has been inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
He helped train mental health professionals after the Jonesboro school massacre, and he was also involved in counseling or court cases in the aftermath of the Paducah, Springfield, Littleton and Nickel Mines Amish school massacres.

Emil Joseph Kapaun was a farm boy from Pilsen, Kansas, born in 1916 to a devout Czech Catholic family that eked out an existence during the Depression. Young Emil felt called to the priesthood and ended up a Chaplain to the U.S. Army during World War II, where he served admirably in the Burma Theater.
He re-enlisted and attained the rank of Captain when the Korean War broke out in 1950. And this is where his jaw-dropping heroism emerged. Father Kapaun, in the words of the soldiers he loved and served, was “all priest and all man.”

Three obvious things stand out about Basilico’s Pasta e Vino: the food is delicious, the line-ups are considerable, and no one is wearing a Fauci/Newsom mask. You read that right. No masks allowed. Mr. Roman refused to lock down his establishment since March 19, 2020, and will not permit customers to wear a mask upon entry. His restaurant has remained packed despite a direct challenge from CA Governor Gavin Newsom and the liquor board.
That decision earned him opprobrium (including more than one death threat) but mostly high accolades....
